About Fixit Express
Fixit Express is a homeowner DIY information site. The owner is a former Class A contractor, and the company is veteran-owned. That is the edge: a pro's judgment on whether a project is a Saturday DIY, a call to a licensed tradesperson, or something in between — plus a short list of the best how-to videos and articles that already exist.
We do not write full how-to procedures. The web is already full of them. What is missing is a clear call, a rough cost, the safety line you should not cross, and a permit check that sends you to your state.
Launch coverage is fourteen common projects and permit notes for fifteen states. Costs are estimates. Permit pages say so when a rule was not confirmed. Nothing here is a bid, a contract, or legal advice.
